Social Media Done Wrong -The Home Depot Center and Twitter Marketing
Honestly, there’s no one “right” way to use social media or Twitter for your marketing. Many will tell you that being generic and impersonal is probably one of the wrong ways though.
With that in mind, check out The Home Depot Center’s tweets regarding the upcoming X Games. It appears they have some sort of ‘bot that just spews out the same response to anyone who tweets about skateboarding. From my own feed to noted sneaker heads to the industry org, group Y, they’re just sending out the same @replies.
Wonder why they have less than 50 followers? Not rad.
