There’s been a lot of news lately about firms going green, who has a green press kit, etc. Honestly, we’re stoked about it. Going green shouldn’t be a competition, but if you want to go green and promote it, that’s cool. Doing something is better than nothing.
One of the simplest ways people can conserve and lessen their carbon footprint is simply by reusing packaging. Due to the nature of some of our clients, we ship a lot of stuff. Whenever possible, we re-use any and all boxes. Check out this box heading north to our friends at Wired magazine.
As you can see, there are quite a few older shipping labels on the box. We removed about four others prior, some of which were on the other side.
Is BBPR the greenest action sports PR firm on the planet? Far from it, but we like to do our part when we can, which includes saving old boxes, printing on both sides of a piece of paper and only using hacky-sacks made from the skins of baby seals (that last part is a joke).
What are you up to green-wise?
