Case Study – Santa Cruz Cruzers

A brand that probably does not need an introduction, Santa Cruz came to us looking for help with their Cruzer series of skateboards… boards built more for jaunts to the corner store or to see friends rather than grinding curbs or sessions at the local skatepark (although some parts of the line could do double duty).

A short project, timed for spring/summer, the Cruzers touched upon our ability to take action sports brands to the online influencers, as well as traditional media gatekeepers that are well read by the “used to skate” crowd.  More than 90 placements were secured online, many of them due to viral pickup from influential editorial.  Men’s Health, Outside, Playboy and others covered the new boards too.
